The Friends of Glenthorne are populating the park with many more plants of a few species that are hosts to butterflies:

• Two Sedges (Gahnia sieberia & Cyperus gymnocaulos) for the Flame Sedge Skipper
• Tall Scurf Pea (Cullen astralasicum) for the Chequered Swallowtail

We have these plants, we have prepared the sites, and we now need some folk to come and plant them.

There are over 50 small areas (6 metres x 6 metres), in three larger areas, that need these 55 plants in them.

The event is free but places are very limited, so if you want to come and help us, then you need to register very soon.
