From 8:30 am until 1:00 pm

At Glenthorne National Park-Ityamaiitpinna Yarta

Bird watching Field Trip

If numbers are large, we will break into smaller groups. One will do a longer walk and the other just the loop walk. We meet at the Ranger’s Station from 8.15am, leaving just after 8.30am and return to the car park at about 12.30pm where we will review the birds seen and complete a bird list for future records.

Covid-19 restrictions will apply, so BYO water, snacks, lunch.

Please dress with hat, long sleeve shirt and long trousers, sunscreen and sturdy shoes. Please watch the forecast for rain.

The walk is rated as moderate, indicating that there are some hills to walk and attendees are asked to walk to their own limitations.

Please bring a chair as we will sit together after to enjoy BYO lunch and review the bird species seen and also the numbers of each.
