Dear ,
We have had a very busy month, preparing for the "About Time" event at Glenthorne this past Sunday. We hope you were able to make it.
Please note, if you forward this email to anyone else, be sure to remove the links at the bottom of this email. These links should only be used by you to access and change your FoG Newsletter subscriber profile.
Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Friends of Glenthorne, we wish to advise that this Sunday’s Enjoyment Day / Working Bee has been cancelled.
We regret any disappointment, especially following our very successful About Time History event 2 weeks ago. We will be back at the farm on the 21st June 2015 from 10.00am until 2.00pm, and all are welcome.
We will be, amongst other things, planting native grasses or perhaps you would like to join us for tea or coffee and a discussion of recent events from around 1.00 pm. .
The Friends of Glenthorne are holding a Community Vision Day event, seeking ideas for the development of future enterprises, conservation and community activities for the property.
We invite you and would be honoured by your attendance at this community event and provide the following details.
Discussion and ideas will be gathered by table facilitators for the following topics
When: SUNDAY, 24 May 2015
Time: 2.00pm start – 5pm
Where: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Hall, 20 Ragamuffin Drive, Hallett Cove (turn at the new Marion Civic Centre Library).
RSVP: WEDNESDAY, 20 MAY 2015
To Alan Burns Mob: 0411 595 910
Email: caburns1@bigpond.com
Hon. Robert Hill and Assoc. Prof. David Paton will speak prior to discussions. We look forward to seeing you on the day.
