The 2026 "Friends of Glenthorne" AGM will be held on Wednesday 26th August, at 7:00pm. Please put this date in your diary.
Venue: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 20 Ragamuffin Drv, Hallett Cove (Right behind the Cove Civic Centre)
All are welcome, however Voting is restricted to financial members only.
Membership fees can be paid online on our Website here or on the night. Cash or Card facilities will be available.

After the usual welcome to visitors, apologies, acknowledgement of country and acceptance of the 2025 AGM minutes, we look forward to our guest speaker, Dr Lucy Clive.
After the committee elections, the AGM will conclude with a light Supper.
About our Guest Speaker
Dr Lucy Clive is currently the Science and Knowledge Project Officer with the not-for-profit organisation, Nature Foundation SA. Having studied a Master of Science in Animal Behaviour at the University of Exeter, Lucy completed her PhD in Conservation Biology at Flinders University, Adelaide.
In her role at the Nature Foundation, Dr Clive plays an active part in promoting ecological science. She has a strong personal background in studying and protecting the endangered Pygmy Bluetongue lizard.
Dr Lucy Clive’s evidence-based ecology focuses heavily on mitigating the risks of wildlife translocations, developing rigorous ecological survey methods, and driving threatened species conservation. Her work moves conservation away from trial-and-error by using empirical data and genetic tracking to dictate field decisions.
Dr Clive has been using her skills at Watchalunga, a Nature Foundation property since 2015 located on the Finniss River, south of Adelaide. Watchalunga is a property with conservation issues, many not unlike the Glenthorne National Park – Ityamaiitpinna Yarta. The evening promises to be one of enlightening scientific processes underlying the efficient and effective management of a crucial property in the survival of the Mt Lofty Southern Emu Wren and more. |
