We are very sad to report that the Carnage of Old Growth Trees has already started.

Indigenous meeting at Par 3 today.  This  is near the weir, on War Memorial Drive.  From Morphett St/Montifiore Rd turn West, away from Adelaide Oval.

Significant trees are being felled on account of our current State Government in South Australia, to persist in an un-welcome, un-necessary redevelopment of the North Adelaide Golf Course, for a LIV tournament that had its major overseas funder withdraw.

This even means putting significantly more Taxpayer money towards something the Public clearly don't want.

What is also worrying is that Adelaide's Newspaper, The Advertiser, did NOT report the 2000 strong protest earlier last week.  Do we have a free press anymore, for such a Newsworthy story being withheld from the reading public?

Below are some photos of what type of trees are being removed. Habitat that will not be replaced by any number of new, substitute, seedlings for 50-100 years from now.

The Adelaide Parklands belong to the People, and our Native Animals. They are Protected from such decimation, but our current Government are overriding this protection.

Thousands of these trees will be removed for this redevelopment. Please help the Adelaide Park Lands group from preserving these trees.
