Roy Dennis MBE OBE is one of the UK’s most celebrated conservationists.  Roy is visiting South Australia as a guest of Friends of Osprey.

As part of his visit, Roy will speak at a dinner co-hosted by Birds SA and Friends of Osprey.

He will talk about many of the conservation projects he has been involved with over many years, but in particular will focus on the restoration of ospreys in Scotland which gone from a handful of pairs in the 1950s to a sustainable population of over 250 pairs today.

He will also talk about the reintroduction of ospreys and white tailed sea eagles in England, as well as the many challenges confronted, while spreading a message of hope for what is possible for nature.
