- All the plastic sheeting in the "Community Grassland" project can now be removed, and all those areas slashed (no spraying).
- A pile of seedling tubes in the now un-used Temporary Nursery area need tidying up and moving to RDA.
- Small Olives along creek-line & around dam need to be plucked.
Please wear appropriate clothing, and BYO lunch, drinking water, snacks etc.
Of course, if you are unwell, please do the right thing and stay at home.
We will meet in the Majors Road Ranger Station carpark from 15 minutes before Start time, and move out to the work area after Sign-In. If you are late, then, if you do not know where the group will be, you will need to ring one of the following.
Martin: 0403 804 306
Alan: 0411 595 910
Karen: 0479 048 394
Bob and Garry will lead this BushCare Day.
Please park in the Ranger Station car park and walk to the site we are working on as described above, look out for people in the high-viz vests. As the park is currently under construction we are trying to minimise the amount of vehicles entering the park, and we do not want general members of the public thinking that they can just drive in too! If you do not have the capacity to walk that distance, please let us know ASAP or one of the phone numbers above, and one of our members transporting equipment will provide you with a lift into the park.
Please remember that we hold Bushcare Days on the first and third Sundays, second Saturday, of each month, and on each Wednesday morning. All are welcome.
