Friends of Glenthorne
Glenthorne National Park Bush Care Day

Ninna marni (hello, how are you?) Friends,

Hi everyone.

This Sunday is the first Friends of Glenthorne National Park Bushcare Day for February 2021 after a couple of weeks off. It is likely that we will be working on revegetation pod maintenance, but we will also be reviewing the current Work Plan and discussing new projects for 2022. At about 12.30pm we will stop for lunch, so given the COVID restrictions, please BYO lunch and drinks etc.

If you are free, please meet in the carpark of the Rangers Station on Sunday morning (6th of February) at 9.45am so that the necessary signing in can take place and some brief instructions can be given. If you are available later in the day, you can still join us. Just look for the volunteers in hi-vis vests or call Alan on 0411595910.

The suggested items to bring along:

  • long pants and sleeves,
  • hat
  • sunscreen
  • enclosed shoes or boots
  • snacks
  • drinking water
  • chair if you are staying for lunch
  •  lunch

We do hope you can join us. We operate under Covid-19 restrictions and we are very safety conscious, so please bare this in mind if you are coming along.

Nakutha (goodbye) and thanks to all our valued members and supporters.

Alan Burns
