Dear ,
If so, then come to the "Friends of Glenthorne Annual General Meeting, and find out what we've been up to for the past 12 months, and what will be happening at Glenthorne in the next 12 months.
Our Guest Speakers are from the Department of Environment and Water (DEW), and Michael Garrod, the "Glenthorne National Park" project office will take us through the process of creating the most exciting, and vibrant Community and Native Flora and Fauna Spece in South Australia. The "Community Picnic Day" we hosted yesterday was a huge success, and was a great opportunity for other people and groups find exciting ways of helping to develop this park into a real gem for the People of SA.
Be part of the fun, and join us, at our AGM.
To be held at the "Lutheran Church", 20 Ragamuffin Dr, Hallett Cove, at 7:30pm. (Just behind the Cove Civic Centre, on Ramrod Ave. There is ample parking.
Cyprian Maynard is the Librarian in charge of Local and Family History at the Aberfoyle Hub Library. They have a Family History event coming up on November the 11th at the Library that may interest all those who are interested in Family History and who may want to learn more about how to write a family history once they have completed all their research.
The Hub library in Aberfoyle Park is running an event on November the 11th which will inspire budding writers while teaching them something of the art of how to go about what can seem like a daunting yet rewarding project.
The talk will be held by Zoe Ratcliffe the Author of “Voices Heard Here”. So come and see us here at the Hub Library at Aberfoyle Park and learn how to translate your research into an engaging family history for your friends and family or maybe even for a wider audience.
Thank you for your help with spreading the word about our event and we hope to see you there on the 11th of November,
