Dear {name} {surname},

April Enjoyment Day

A change of date is required for our day at Glenthorne for April because our scheduled date, (that was on the website) is Easter Sunday.

The committee decided to change this to the Sunday before, which is Sunday 13th April, 2014.  Change this in your diary/phone now!!!

Highlights from last Enjoyment Day!

Last working bee a number of bird nests were seen in the Acacia paradoxa area on the western side of the small dam. Two of these are believed to be of the Grey Fantail – the first known nesting of these birds on the property.

The Native Grass Compound area was pegged out last time, and we believe that the University has arranged for the Post holes to have been dug earlier this week, 31st March.  This will be good timing to continue to establish this very useful area to produce good grass seed.  What progress we are making.

Diairy Dates

Remember to put Sunday 25th May, 2014 in your diary. It is "Heritage Day" at Glenthorne.  More details about this later.

A reminder that on April 30th (Wed) Conservation Volunteers Australia are having a working event on Glenthorne. If you find it difficult to come on a Sunday, you may enjoy coming along then, to see what we are doing and, if the mood grabs you, to join in!!!
