Christmas Gathering

In December we will have a true Enjoyment Day for Glenthorne.

But, not on our usual (3rd) Sunday of the month, but the 2nd Sunday, 8th December 2013, and at the un-usual time of 11am until 3pm.

Where: Karka Pavillion, Belair National Park

Your whole Family are welcome!

Lunch, tea / coffee and soft drinks will be provided by DEWNR and NRM.

Special dietary requirements need to be advised to Mel at melissa.pettigrew@sa.gov.au

Bring your own alcohol (if you required it!) and a chair.

Rob Morrison (Of "The Curiosity Show" fame) is the guest speaker and there may be walks organised by the Friends of Belair. Read more about this amazing Professor here.

Native Grass Compound Grant

We are very pleased to report that we have been sucessful to recieved a grant of $2,000 to set up a Native Grass compound at Glenthorne. We will be using this to propogate seed, and rare plants. The site will be Rabbit Proof, and we will be using fencing material generously donated by the DPTI from excess recycle-able stock from the Expressway Duplication Project.
