This coming Sunday (March 16th) is our next Enjoyment Day at Glenthorne. The current rain we are having will be wonderful for Glenthorne by Sunday.
We are very pleased to announce that the Native Grass Compound we have planned to establish at Glenthorne has been approved by the University. The University will have the post-holes dug by the end of this month (March). We have been collecting native grass seed for this, which we will plant when all the preparation has been done.
A Grey Fantail was spotted at Glenthorne in the Acacia Paradoxa (Kangaroo Thorn) area. It has been some months since one has been spotted at Glenthorne.
A Wedge-Tailed Eagle was spotted soaring over Glenthorne, and one was seen taking off from Glenthorne, by Birds SA spotters. in early January.
Remember to put Sunday 25th May, 2014 in your diary. It is "Heritage Day" at Glenthorne. More details about this later.
